Hiroshima mon amour is a unique gem that really has increased my interest in foreign movies, particularly those from Europe or Asia. I thought the reflective mood and artistic vision of the film was really well executed, and I feel that there aren't really as many movies quite like that made today.

shareIt was a good approach to have all the flashback scenes in silent as it emphasised the horror of some of these flashbacks. Particually the scenes of Elle imprisoned.
