great film

Bought a small box set with Fatal Hour, Dead Men Walk and Mad Monster included along with the Giant Gila Monster and out of all four this was the best. I love creature films, the use of the real reptile is great!!!!
Also this has got lots of good 50's rock and roll music going on, try and find this film if you like the stuff Corman was doing around the same time

And let us not forget Ken Curtis, Festus of Gunsmoke produced this gem along with Killer Shrews. Magnificent and meaningful!

Nothing exists more beautifully than nothing.

I always love the scene, when the giant gila monster sticks/smashes its head through the "sock-hop" barn (or stable?) wall, with all of those screaming teenagers in there, and, Chase has the presence of mind to shout out, very reassuringly, to everyone: "Don't panic!"

(Maybe Chase SHOULD have said: "Here, everybody, take one of my medically-prescribed Xanax pills!"?)

i thought this movie was pretty awesome myself , i'm a fan of most of the Roger Corman produced stuff.

I totally agree, I loved this movie, the monster running around town wiping out everything in it's path,, I especially love the train takedown.
