On TCM USA on July 18 at 10.00 PM EST + Aug 29 6.00 AM
I thought I had seen all Brando's good films but now I find out I have not yet seen this one. Directed by Sydney Lumet...mmh... and what a wonderful cast, Anna Magnani, Joanne Woodward and Maureen Stapleton. I read that Maureen Stapleton played Lady Torrance in Williams' "Orpheus Descending" on stage in 1957 but both roles were played by Anna Magnani in the movie versions, here she has a supporting role. I am looking forward to it.
