I can not remember the first time I saw this movie - but I loved it (I think I was about 12). I love Danny Kaye and still enjoy this movie. I also watched his variety show on TV.

one of my very favorite films....Actually i always thought he should have got an Oscar Nomination for this film....

Thinking about the way other young actresses have received Supporting Actress Oscars, I wish Susan Gordon, who played Young Dorothy, had at least been given credit for her part and also a nomination. She truly deserved it. Tuesday Weld was good as Teenaged Dorothy, but I thought Susan was much, much better.
