Loved hearing Adam West

Just saw this as part of Warner's Stewart collection, and I loved listening to a pre-Batman Adam West as "man on radio." Once the owner of the voice became visible, though, it became clear that they had brought Adam West in to dub another actor. If only more actors were lucky enough to be dubbed by Adam West!

What's the Spanish for drunken bum?

SPOILER WARNING

Mr. McLaurel early in the movie when James Stewart is working on the Indian murder cases he enters the bank while being watched from a window by the two actual murderers and one remarked something like "He sure ain't going to the bank this time of night to cash a check." The actor wasn't him but his voice sounded like Ben Johnson. It never showed the man's lips and it wasn't Ben Johnson but the voice sure sounded like him. The setting was in Oklahoma so maybe they did dub Mr. Johnsons voice since after all he was from Oklahoma.

Yeah, I'd always thought the voice of the man on the radio in the "Florist's truck" was that of Adam West...
