I am off for my annual viewing of Darby and my meal of corned beef and cabbage!

Yesterday, I subjected a captive audience of 150 Harvard undergrads to the scene where Darby plays the fiddle for the leprechauns. Why? Because I could.

Had a big Irish breakfest on St Pats and watched this movie, like I have for the past 20 years or so. A couple eggs sunny side up, blood pudding (sausage), some Irish soda bread and bacon. Great film.

St Patricks means Darby O'Gill, The Quiet Man, Corned Beef & Cabbage and Colchannon.

And generous helpings of Stout or Guiness.
