Just have to say i would love to see this on Blu-Ray!

Its been one of my favourite movies as a kid and i've only ever seen it on tv a small number of times during childhood yet i still long for seeing it till this day.... what better way to see it again than on Blu-Ray?!

I just doubt that they'll conduct a restoration for it or else im sure it could look as good as the latest Bonds, Sleeping Beauty.. and the other handful of movies that were to appear on blu-ray from that era

I don't thihk it will go onto Blu-Ray, but the DVD is pretty good considering that the original film wasn't as crisp as films are today.

I wouldn't hold my breath. It took them years to put it on video tape and years again to put it on DVD.

It is razor sharp in 35mm, way better than a DVD, so a blu-ray would be very welcome indeed.
