What happened to King Brian? *spoilers*
Did he die? He stayed in the Death Coach after he sent Darby flying out and off of it...can he even die?

shareThis thread goes into more detail about speculation as to what happened to him:

In short, King Brian was an immortal (an angel according to a Disney television episode and the books the movie is based on ) that can not enter heaven or hell. The worst that can happen is the Death Coach takes him to one or the other, he is denied entry, and then teleports back to Earth. The Coach fulfills its rules by returning with a passenger, but because Brian is immortal he is allowed to return to Earth.
'Allowed'? More like 'had to' - Hell wouldn't have him, and Heaven didn't want him (and his kind).

Sounds like a lawyer......
There always is a tricksy, rules-lawyering side to the 'little folk'. Like letting a man mark the spot where he found the buried gold, then marking the whole field similarly. That's why you have to be so careful with fairy wishes.
shareJust out of curiosity are you Irish? You just reminded me of a story we read in school and thought you might be referencing that. Basically a man forces a Leprechaun to give him a crock of gold which the man buries under a tree. In order to remember which one he ties a red scarf around it and makes the Leprechaun swear he won't remove the crock. The Leprechaun agree's but in the mans absence ties a red scarf around every tree in the forest.
Even if that's not what you had in mind thanks for the reminder.
Hey! You're not old enough to drink! Now go and die for your country!!!
Leprechauns are supposed to be immortal.
