'Blue Denim' connection to 'In Cold Blood'

This is a macabre bit of trivia. According to Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood," Holcomb, Kansas murder victim Nancy Clutter would have seen this movie with her boyfriend Bobby Rupp on Sunday night, November 15, 1959, if the Clutter family hadn't been slaughtered in the early hours of that morning. ("All the girls" in town "were looking forward to" this movie, according to Bobby Rupp's quote.)

And in 1967, Vaughn Taylor (who played Janet's father) appeared in "In Cold Blood".

I just read that part in the book and came to see what the movie was about.

"Flash, Flash, I love you, but we only have fourteen hours to save the Earth!"

I have a DVD of BLue Denim and thinking of that always gives a creepy edge to watching it. The kids in the movie thought they had a problem - they didn't have psychos coming and killing them!

This positively infantile preoccupation with bosoms!Terry-Thomas about US 1963.Hasnt changed much!
