Thoughts on This Film

On Halloween night I watched The Bat. Agnes Moorehead stars as a mystery writer who finds herself in the middle of a real life mystery. A serial killer called The Bat has struck before and seems to be up to his old tricks. There are several suspects, one played by Vincent Price, and it is well done, suspenseful and keeps the viewer guessing. It features several murders but shows little to no blood. I felt at the end it left some unanswered questions even after the mystery was solved. It was at least the third film of this story and was pretty good. As far as kids viewing it it's no worse than a lot of things they see. It's short and well worth the time to watch.
