Who loved Lizzie in this?

I always loved watching the character of Lizzie Allen in this movie because she was such a strong character. Watching the two previous movies later one I wondered how they turned her character from being so afraid of everything, to being the woman that she was here, determined not to be scared out by anything. Actually, as a kid, Lenita Lane's character in this movie was one of my heroes because she was very strong and brave and could be very take-charge about things when she had to be. Who else liked her character here?

I concur absolutely. I love the Lizzie Allen character - she reacts scared to sudden shocks as anyone would, but instead of turning into a quivering wreck she quickly recovers and gets in control. Cornelia and Lizzie are two great ladies - and both are very attractive IMO.

I also love the way that Cornelia never doubts that Lizzie saw the 'Bat' when the 'Bat' first tries to get in the house. In other films characters are often frustratingly disbelieved at first.

Lizzie rules. I also love her lines - 'That thing's got a brain?' and 'I was beginning to worry about him'. Great stuff.

And I always loved it when she said "I ain't afraid of ghosts...They're afraid of me! Honest Ms. Corny, a spiritualist told me once that ghosts was allergic to me."

And you have to really love her take-charge attitude when Cornelia goes missing, I always love that, when they're outside, right before that intense music starts she says "That's where we're going to look first, come on!" She was a great character. They both were, it's too bad they seemed to have broken the mold when they made this movie for characters like that.
