Enjoyed the Characters of Cornelia + Lizzie

Both characters played off each other well. Also enjoyed the humor of each one, especially Lizzie.

I was always fascinated by Lizzie when I was a kid, I loved watching her, she was a brave woman. And this was especially proven true once I got The Bat Whispers and the 1926 version of The Bat and saw how cowardly those versions of her were made out to be, and in fact I wrote a report about them all for school once, comparing her to those who hid under the bed at the slightest thing, lol.

Good comic pairing. I liked the way that Lizzie kept calling the other one Cornie. Not always at the appropriate time.

Yeah that was always funny I thought, I know they're close and have been for 20 years but that's still a hell of a way to address your employer.

reply

Yes. Lizzie is in no way a menial under Cornelia. I don't think I've ever discovered in which way Lizzie is employed. So whether it's as a maid, a hired companion or a general factotum I'm not too sure.

It made a difference from pretty young teenagers being threatened by some psycho serial killer.🐭

No kidding, though really the setup is sort of the same. In the beginning they're in the house ALONE, cut off from the rest of the town, sharing the same bedroom, the Bat ALMOST gets Cornelia at the front door, he ALMOST gets Lizzie at the bedroom door, except the two of them were SMART, that's about the biggest difference between them and any other girls in a slasher movie.
