Is it just me (Movie Connection) ????.........

I have always been a fan of the older movies (black and white), of course depending what it is. Really always have been like that. Never recall seeing this movie before. Which gets me to my question...

As I was watching this movie today, whether or not it been on a bit or not, and reading up on the film. As I am a Jimmy Stewart fan I couldn't help but feel like this was almost like A Time To Kill. I know the rape is different far different from the rape in ATTK. But you got Jimmy as the acused lawyer and pretty much fights the case as Matthew does in ATTK. Same goes for the judge and the da.

Anyone else have seen this and felt the connection too?... Maybe perhaps it is just me thinking this if not maybe John Grisham got the idea for ATTK from this movie. Either way I thought this was a excellent film to have probably been seen for the first time.

Wow! I see that you just watched this yesterday. I have it on DVD and watched it again today.....
I have only seen A time To Kill once when it came out. I never really thought about that film. til now....
The film I was thinking about was The Accused, with Jodie Foster....a woman of questionable character raped, She lives in a trailer house, has a cute dog... but then again, I was watching that one last night.
