At times, Valerie Perine, Debbie Reynolds, Carol Lynley also resemble Remick.

To me Remick always had a stuck-up-appearing attitude/look on-screen. Something about her eyes perhaps - they glitter and glare haughtily. I don't get that at all from Dunst. Her eyes are very soft. I might be atypical, but attitude forms a large part of on screen appearance to me.

It's not intended to be a criticism! No one can really completely control how they come off to another. Remick was certainly striking, in a gooood way.

Wow - I don't see a resemblance at all. Lee Remick is very haughty and very angular while Kirstin Dunst looks like poor trailer trashy in some way (and I can't put my finger on it but to me she just looks cheap - like a Tonya Harding look - hard to explain). Kirstin would be the maid in Lee Remick's house.

No resemblance.

I was thinking today, more like Reese Witherspoon.
