When asked if there wasnt another word that could be used. George C. Scott said he had heard a french word used when he was overseas, but was rather "Suggestive". The judge says "Most french words are". Does anyone know what french term he was referring to?

I also got the following when I looked up the French word for panties:
la culotte
panties, pants, breeches, knickers, briefs, rump
le slip
pants, panties, underpants, shorts, knickers, trunk
le slip de femme
panties
You know that last one, "le slip de femme" sounds suggestive *g.*
I would've said lingerie or agent provocateur
