the ending ? (did anyone want a twist?)
i was so hoping for a twist like say in primal fear or the usual suspects...something where we will know thatthe lieutenant was guilty of murder out of jealousy ...
shareI fully expected more than one twist, but was proven wrong. Well, at least there was the twist that we were quite certain after that ending what the real truth was.
The ending seemed a bit rushed. There was a need for at least a bit more about what just happened - they were both a bit too cool about loosing all that money. We don't get a chance to have all that sink in.
Except for the rushed ending, the rest of the film was perfect.
Well, they get to manage an estate, here's for the money.
And one of the point is not knowing for sure if there was a rape or not. The truth evades us, we have to make up our minds. That's brillant.
Hence no need to elaborate some more after 2:40 :-)
