rate these four anthology series from the 1950s and 60s
The Twilight Zone 1959-64
Alfred Hitchcock Presents 1955-62
The Outer Limits. 1963-64
Thriller 1960-62
The Twilight Zone 1959-64

Thriller 1960-62
I'd rank The Outer Limits at 3rd, myself but otherwise you've got it.
shareThe Twilight Zone
Alfred Hitchcock Presents
The Outer Limits
Thriller
1) Twilight Zone (TOS only)
2) Alfred Hitchcock Presents/Hour
3) The Outer Limits (TOS only)
4) I've heard of Thriller, but I don't know that I've ever seen it.
I would add two series to the list: Suspicion (1957-1958) and Suspense (1949-1954) which includes Serling's "Nightmare at Ground Zero."
1. The Twilight Zone
2. Alfred Hitchcock Presents/Hour
3. Boris Karloff’s Thriller
4. The Outer Limits
Also, another great show is One Step Beyond (1959).
Thriller got better as it went on.
shareYeah, I really like Thriller. I really like Karloff’s opening narrations. It makes him a part of the episodes a lot more than Hitchcock or Outer Limits. It’s much more like Rod’s role in TZ.
It’s just a really underrated show that deserves to be considered a classic like the other three you mentioned. I definitely feel like Thriller is the most forgotten of the four. And it actually ran for 18 more episodes than the original Outer Limits did.
I have been binging AHP, The Outer Limits and Thriller all winter.
