Did Norma in "The Midnight Sun" wake up from a nightmare?

Both, but be aware that the second nightmare was reality.

It seems to be that she was stuck in two nightmares: one being the reality of the world spinning away from the sun, the other one being the fever dream with The Midnight Sun. Most of the episode is set in this nightmare, yet the prospect of freezing to death is scarcely a relief from all the heat.
