Why isn't "Perchance to Dream" more fondly remembered?

It's amazing in my book.

It's a good episode but not one of my top favorites. Just doesn't have quit the effectiveness as "The Hitch-Hiker" or "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet."

I like the scenes in the office, but it's not a favorite of mine because of that creepy woman in the dream sequence.

reply

I liked her. She was sexy/scary like Arlene Martel in "Twenty Two."

reply

:) Well, not surprisingly, I don't like the woman in "Twenty Two" either. I tend to skip over that one when it airs.

reply

Neither one is, for me anyway, your typical Freddy Krueger-type monster, which was why I found both so fascinating.

reply

It's too damn scary. Not in a horror movie sort of way but like real life. Unsettling.

The Maya The Girl we meet Mr. Hall wasn't even aware of until he entered Mr. Rathman's office and saw the receptionist. Before Mr. Hall went to see Mr. Rathman Maya the Cat Girl could have been a barista. Or a bartender. Or an actress. In other words, Maya The Cat Girl is always the latest women this man is lusting after but owing to his weak heart has to resist.
