Does anyone remember Rocky ending Halloween?

I have been unable to find any reference to a story line I seem to remember. I don't remember the details but it goes something like this: Witches (or some magical being) rule on Hallwoeen until the rooster crows the next day. They get together and make all the roosters unable to crow so "the next day never starts". Rocky and Bullwinkle battle them and eventually get caught. Rocky begs them to do anything but not to turn him into a chicken. They, of course, turn him into a "chicken" but him being male he becomes a rooster and crows and ends their magic. I seem to remember seeing this as a small child and it bugged me at the time how he became a rooster instead of a chicken. Years later it hit me as to why. I have been looking for this story line for decades now.
