Marry Me in Laramie

I've been trying to find this song on the web but so far no luck.

Anyone know where it can be found? I'd be happy if I could just find the lyric.

If you watch the below YouTube video all the way to the end, you will hear and see 'Marry Me in Laramie' with the lyrics on the screen - Hoagy Carmichael playing the piano. KAS

Awesome...thanks! There were a few words that I just couldn't understand when I heard Hogey sing it in Glory Road.

Tack: "equipment used in horseback riding, including the saddle and bridle" or it could be "the equipment required for a task or sport". Either would fit.

Finally! Now it makes sense.

Although I thought it was "a girl to help you sew", rather than "a girl to help you soooo"

I believe you're correct with "girl to help you sew". I find subtitling to be incorrect a lot. The below link to YouTube also has the song at 7:14 which is much easier to understand. KAS

Yep, the first link has a couple more errors in the subtitles as well.

Subtitles say "I'm no Casanova, don't sing sing much in tune, but darling I love to SWOON", when it's actually "darling I love to SPOON".

And then it ends with a very large font saying "Marry Me Laramie Soon", leaving out the word "in" (they say it fast, but it's absolutely there).

I'm kinda bummed...Encore Westerns is winding down the Hoagy episodes, only a week or two left before they start airing the 2nd season without him or Robert Crawford.

I really love the cast and the feel of the 1st season. From what I've read all this changes in subsequent seasons.
