Robert Fuller Thinks Ahead....WAY AHEAD!

It struck me funny that at the end of "The Killer Legend", just aired here on Encore Western Channel, that sheriff Mort Cory's father helped Robert Fuller (who was acting sheriff) and regular Laramie lawman Mort to capture the bad guys. Fuller did not realize that the older man was Mort's father until Mort told him and mentioned that he was 83 years old and still going strong. Fuller wrapped up the episode by saying he hoped he was as active as the old guy when he was 83 and then said that "I just hope I make it to 83."

Fuller was 27 or 28 when the episode was shot in 1961 and, as we fans know, was even younger looking in his salad days. I looked up his birth date and saw he was born in 1933, so on his birthday this year the still good-looking Fuller was 82. That means next year he'll reach that age (83) that seemed so far away at that time.

From the desert to the sea, to all of Southern California, a good evening.

This is a great tv show-I love it.
Started collecting the season DVDs-1 & 3 for now.
For what they cost, the color season's 3&4 should be as great a quality as what is shown on GRIT tv-beautiful scenery, realisitic color-looks like film-not over saturated.
Some buyers feel they aren't acceptable, while they are not the best quality re sharpness and color balnce-they look like they did I guess when they originally broadcast, watchable.
The Virginian on DVD looks great-almost as good, maybe the same as the quality of Laramie shiwn on GRIT.
