Kim Novak's skirt changes midway through a scene
Same color, but a slightly different design and I think a bit longer. The part where she jumps from the tower.
shareObviously you can't be referring to the final scene (easy to explain the earlier tower jump), so I'm guessing this was nothing more than a minor goof/filming timeline. Or was this actually intentional? Hmm.

I think it was easier to run in a wider skirt than the narrower one we had seen earlier. But it was supposed to be the same skirt.
IMDb trivia section explains the reason for two different style skirts. One skirt was very difficult for Kim to move in. There was a small pleat in the "tight" skirt. Kim needed more room in the second skirt so she could run and do more action maneuvers. Hence, a second skirt was made with a much more generous pleat, giving the actress the room she need to perform the scenes.
shareIf they needed to change the skirt, then why not use the replacement skirt throughout? Why have two skirts?
