The Nature of Evil

I wrote a short essay on Touch of Evil called "The Nature of Evil."

If evil is habitually acted upon, it blunts the person’s conscience, making them capable of committing even greater acts of evil.

I wonder if it would have fit to say how he became evil. We don't know Hank's disposition when his wife was alive. Not much but, I would assume he hated mexicans because of his wife's death. Murdered by a mexican.
