One of the best military comedies ever
Loved it ... Like Stripes must see for US Military veterans ...
In one of the goofs it states that the USAF did not call their junior enlisted people , Private, Corporal etc., like they did when they were USAAC after the USAF became its own branch in 1947 ... Instead calling them Airmen , Airmen Basic, etc., this did not happen until 1952 ... For the first 5 years of the USAF the junior enlisted were still called Private, PFC and Corporal...
Although when this film was made the terms had been changed ...
