I wonder if this ever comes out onto DVD,if the extra bonus never before seen footage,where the monster supposedly walks out of the storage room with the decapation of someone he killed,and munches on his neck like an apple? Kind of very gross sounding for it's time.That's probably why that scene has always been edited out of every video copy and on television.A friend of mine was the one who told me about this scene,but I haven't seen it.
shareEvery time I viewed this the scene with the monster walking out of Kolchek`s store with Eddie`s head in it`s right mitt has been included. I know of no scene where the monster is seen chomping on Eddie`s head. I had a hardback book once that had a publicity photo of the monster standing on a rock with it`s arms raised and Eddie`s head still being held by the monster in it`s right mitt.

I saw several videos and TV prints (Including one on the "Weirdo Late show" on an Albany, NY station in 1962). In every version I saw the head being carried but no eating scene.
