Here's the info on blu-ray.com. This is VERY cool news as it has really only been available in unofficial releases. I have a copy now but I'll get this official release the day it comes out. I bet it's gonna look fantastic! Certainly beating out all the unofficial releases out there. It will be like seeing it for the first time. I first saw this movie on the Thursday night "Weirdo Late Show" (WTEN channel 10 Albany, NY) in the spring of 1964. I was 8 years old.
Ahh the early 60's. A fun time for a kid to be in front of a TV. Not only did numerous monster movies get lots of broadcasts on local stations (at the time many of these creepy gems films were only a few years old), but we also had shows like Thriller, The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, One Step Beyond, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Way Out and Great Ghost Tales.
If that wasn't enough to trigger a youngster's imagination, what could?
