The most apathetic townfolk in history of monster townfolk./Poss Spoiler

We have seen them with the dog and torches, we have seen them with their lynch posses, shotguns in the lap etc.
The people in this town seem to take every death in stride. Even when the mans child was killed they just dumped her on the table in the market, left him there to cry and went off with the their " Gotta do something about this" which they kept miming after every death. Lost a head, Gotta do something about this. This movie is precious just for how ludicrous way the townsfolk are and how seriously are they looking for the cause of all this mayhem.
Most of the time you almost expect them to be sitting and playing checkers on a barrel. Ah, this movie defines nitwits perfectly and its fun watching them prove it.

I thought the same thing! They were VERY calm, after so many decapitations and disappearances. They also all walk around together, like they're going to play bingo. There's also a monster running around, decapitating people, everyone leaves their door open! One idiot even sends his little girl to the store alone!! Said kid is promptly missing her noggin.

My favorite part, was when the monster emerges, out of the meat locker. The doctor asks the sheriff, "should we go after it?", the sheriff says NO, not right now!!! LOL. Shouldn't they at least follow it, to see where it's cave is??
