IT's the same theme music from 'KRONOS'

The theme music over the opening credits of IT! THE TERROR FROM BEYOND SPACE (1958) is the same as that on the 1957 robot-on-the-march classic KRONOS. Both films had the same composing team of Paul Sawtell and Bert Shefter. But while KRONOS used those thematic passages throughout that film, that same music isn't heard anywhere else in the rest of IT! I guess the guys just thought it was a good theme and why waste it? They probably weren't paid enough to come up with an entirely new score anyway.

The theme was also use in "Gigantis the Fire Monster".

Yes, you're right, as stock music over the credits for the lousy Americanized version of GODZILA RAIDS AGAIN. Of course, it's not in the Japanese original. (Even the US version of that film now uses the Japanese title, having ditched the ridiculous GIGANTIS title some years ago. But all the dubbed dialogue still calls the monster "Gigantis"!)

that soundtrack was used in at least 10 other musics. these generic "fit for all occasions" music they were filling screens with were all over the place
