Yes. Every OL fan who -- if they haven't seen ITTFBS themselves -- has read that tidbit in David J. Schow's Outer Limits book(s).
One could even make a list of "old SF movies that were borrowed from for OL stock footage". i.e., the When Worlds Collide spaceship appears in OL's Counterweight.
A similar game can be played with "How many times does Forbidden Planet footage / hardware / cycloramas appear in The Twilight Zone (1959-64 edition)?"
