Lost opportunity

The advantage of a monster with arms (or a big mouth) is that it can carry away the female lead, she either kicking and screaming, or fainted. They blew it. I love most old sci-fi movies, but this is one of the most pointless and boring ever.

If THIS is the most boring 50's sci-fi flick you've seen,then you've not seen many.

I don't want to sound mean, but in those old sci-fi movie, the females almost always survived. Something to do with chivalry.

I agree. This dud missed on so many levels. Can't see why it's held up as a classic. I found myself cringing in embarrassment even as a kid. Not even cheesy fun. Just dumb.
