If only we could have had man on Mars by 1973. We always get it wrong.

I am reminded of the TV series Space: 1999 made in the mid 1970s.
By the year 1999 some expected we would have a base on the moon and we would be sending manned probes to Jupiter and Uranus.

Don't give up hope! I am sure someday soon an astronaut will be happy to probe Uranus!!!
