Did Vincent Price look at the camera?

At the beginning of the movie right after the introduction of all the characters. Just after the chandelier falls and Vincent Price is making his way to his guests I swear he looks right into the camera.

Anyone notice that?

He does. I think it's cool. Bought this on DVD ages ago. Thinking of giving it a whirl.

He actually faces the camera *and flexibly or indirectly* on a few occasions, during this movie.

As the iconic master of horror - he was known (same as Hitchcock) for his dramatic or creepy soliloquies (and precisely why he was hired as the unfolding narrator for Michael Jackson's Thriller video) 😎

Yeah, he does it a few times in this movie. I love it. I laugh every time. It's his own little wink & nod at the audience.
