A Remake Perhaps?

A brilliant period film featuring my two all time favourite actors, Stanley Baker and Patrick Mcgoohan.
I reckon someone could do a great remake (larger 8 wheelers or artics now of course)so long as the actors are (dare I say it!) a little older and look like real working drivers and please please not the fresh faced effeminate pretty boy teenagers they would invariably feel the need to use today.

It would never work in the modern day.

By the end of one week ALL of the drivers would have been banned from driving as speed cameras would have picked up dozens of speeding violations.

Yeh you're probably right Altho73, but don't forget that the original was filmed on quiet back roads and as we all know, the speed cam safety angle is obviously and simply a cover. Our public serving 'Blue Masonic Brotherhood' usually advise the cameras positioned on very busy high volume roads so as to ensure maximum rates of return on our (the tax payers) investment.
