Scenes used in other movies
The scene where Dracula crashes through a boom gate, the gate keeper repairs it, and then Van Helsing crashes through. It seemed a bit too slapstick, but Ivan Reitman must have liked it. He used the same gag in Stripes.
I also noticed the end scene with Dracula's ring being all that's left of him, and his ashes being gently blown away by a breeze. I may be wrong, but I suspect Mike Hodges was referencing this at the end of Flash Gordon.
Plus I think the music served as some inspiration for the soundtrack to the 1992 Dracula. Particularly the up and down crescendo with the brass wind.
It wouldn't be surprising if this movie inspired many other film makers.
