Isn't the Film's Score Great?

George Dunning's score is wonderful...can't get it out of my head and don't want to even try. He did "That Touch of Mink", which TCM aired a few hours later (yesterday).

Yes--I like George Dunning's music, too. In fact, I loved the score from B, B & C SO MUCH that I bought the CD. I love listening to it in my car; it gets even better the more you listen to it! I think he also did the score for STRANGERS WHEN WE MEET.

reply

Thank you for the heads-up about Strangers.

McKee-4--Another George Dunning composition (along with Steve Allen) is the THEME FROM PICNIC.

It is very good. I wonder if it's the same George Duning who did Yellow Submarine.

I find it very Mancini-like, and that's a GOOD thing. The Candoli Bros. play some of the hippest be-bop you will ever hear in a mainstream film. PURE GENIUS!
