Could call for a remake


I think if the story was modified a bit and modernized it could actually be a decent remake.

No. It's perfect as it is and one of those key ingredients is the '50s style of it, not to mention Stewart and Novak couldn't be replaced...

Out of curiosity though, who would you have star in it?

I've thought so too. I think there's a way to update it (not have such a treacle-ish ending) because I think the play hints that the spell De Passe put on Gillian also did something to her powers.

I think it was to pacify the womenfolk such as myself who hated the ending.

Why did you hate the ending? I have an idea of a different ending... but I'll keep that for now..!

You've made me remember that awful Bewitched movie. This story seems very well suited to the 1950s, but I don't know how it could be tweaked to fit modern sensibilities.
