Should be seen around Halloween time

I've always considered this to be a good Halloween movie. They should air this on TV close to or on Halloween.

That's funny I always watch it at Christmas time.

It is one of my Christmas movies too.

It just seems like all the witchcraft stuff is Halloween material.

Well, that's brought out right in the film. Shep says the gathering at the Zodiac was "more like Halloween than Christmas".

You've got me?! Who's got you?!

Some years after I moved to England (I'm American), I noticed that around Christmas the TV channels here showed supernatural, horror films. I once said to my (British) husband "Why are they showing that at this time of year?" and he explained that it is traditional to have ghost stories at Christmas, so I guess that BBC falls into, or gives a nod to, that tradition.

I suppose the British have retained the ghost story at Christmas more than the Americans. Although I think the US must have had this tradition at some time. The popular American Christmas song 'It's A Most Wonderful Time of the Year' mentions telling ghost stories as a Christmas tradition.

I always watch it on Christmas Eve, since that's what day it is when the movie begins.
