Wrist Watch??
Episode "Crossroads" guest starring Clu Gulager and John McEntire shows what may be a wrist watch on Clu Gulager's left wrist at approx. 17 minutes into the show. A shiny metal band of some sort is obvious. He is handcuffed to a cot with his right hand.
The episode is dated 1959.
While this series is based in the 1800s, to my knowledge pocket watches were the only personal time pieces available. How many times have we seen Doc (Gunsmoke) check his?
If any of you think it may be a prisoner's shackle I'm seeing, just realize that shackles don't usually reflect like this device is doing, at least the ones I've seen on other programs don't.
