Signet Ring on left ring finger

Has anyone noticed the signet ring on his left ring finger? I believe it is to cover up his wedding band because I have noticed it up to Bullitt (last I have watched). I will keep track to see when and if it disappears after his divorce from Neile. He also took off the St. Christopher's medal he worn around his neck sometime after they separated. Neile said, that he snatched it off in anger and she never saw it again.

callumr444, I have studied it and you can see his wedding ring. The masking was very well done because it looks as if it is a part of the ring. It appears he wore it like that on and off screen. He wore it in ALL of his movies up to "The Reivers" a still shot from the movie in the book "Movie Icons: McQueen." So, his ring and the medal Neile gave him that he ALWAYS wore, were gone!
