Killer Whale misinformation

In the episode "Killer Whale", a killer whale (orca) stalks Mike and two other divers. When one diver tries to swim for their boat he his killed by the orca. For revenge, Mike decides to hunt the orca and harpoon it.

The episode's attitude perpetuated the false fear that humans were at risk in the ocean from orcas. Starting in the the mid-1960s, after orcas were captured for display in aquaria, public interest in the animals grew. Millions of people gained an appreciation for orcas by viewing them in captivity. According to Wikipedia, "unlike wild killer whales, captive killer whales are reported to have made nearly two dozen attacks on humans since the 1970s, some of which have been fatal."

The episode did a poor job of showing what I guess is a pilot whale instead of a killer whale in the closeups.
