In the Jaws board someone wrote that people weren't really afraid of shark attacks before Jaws in 1975.
Where there any Sea Hunt episodes with ?
Do you know of other pre 1975 movies and tv shows with dngerous sharks in them?
There have been several episodes featuring sharks. It's a very show.

There are only 13 titles for movies or TV episodes prior to the release of Jaws. I think the relatively small number before 1975 is due more to the success of Jaws than a new found fear of shark attacks; we all know how the movie industry tries to copy success.
As someone who was out of high school before 1975 and who learned how to swim at a young age in the Pacific Ocean, I can safely say that people thought about shark attacks before Jaws. It's just that they didn't let their fear keep them from going into the water unless there was a recent shark sighting in the area where they planned to swim. Nothing really changed in that regard after Jaws came out.
Although that search fails to cite any of the shark-based episodes of Sea Hunt, nor does it catch the original Flipper movie, or its spin-off series' episodes "300 Feet Below", "Day of the Shark", or "Shark Hunt"; and these are surely just the tip of the shark-fin, so to speak. (There's also the Gilligan's Island debut "Two on a Raft", e.g.)
