I think the theme music is kind of interesting. I remember watching the show as a kid, and it's interesting that as I remembered it in later life, I remembered the music as another composition that is similar but not the same. I'm going to try to find that other music on Youtube and post it here.

As my mother noticed at the time, the theme music for Sea Hunt, was very similar to the theme music for Science Fiction Theater. Another, previous, Ivan Tors production.

That's theme music from Science Fiction Theater. I didn't think it sounded that much like the Sea Hunt theme, but I could be wrong.
The other piece I'm trying to find is part of a symphony, I believe, but I don't know what it was. I thought it had something to do with outer space. I tried Gustav Holst's symphony "The Planets," and it's not there.
