I have watched nearly all the episodes of "The Rifleman." Did Mark ever have a love interest?
He went all gaga over an older girl in 'A Young Man's Fancy' and by the end of the show he had a girlfriend named Lorrie in the episode 'Old Tony'.
shareI just watched the episode with Sally Walker, Mark's apparent "love interest." The writers really didn't do Mark any justice. He received a geniune "butt " whipping trying to impress Sally. I felt sorry for the little fellow. Maybe his Paw should have taught him how to fight. Overall, it was a good episode. I got to see Milly.
shareI figure the way the writers portrayed the wimpy Mark over the years, a love interest wouldn't have been too believable, unless.... oh that's right, T.V. was not ready for THAT kind of love interest in the early 60's
