I just watched this episode and in one scene Lily and the outlaw are in the middle of nowhere with the posse right behind them. Then in the next scene they are in front of the Governor's mansion.

That had to be the shortest ride time-wise from Laramie to Cheyenne as well. And, how did Troop, after leading the posse on a wild goose chase west, managed to beat the posse back to Lily and Johnny by a significant margin when they were all riding east (but not on the same road)? Let me guess, the posse took WY 210 through Curt Gowdy State Park while Troop took I-80, a little longer but a lot faster. Then they all had a nice lunch at Taco John's.
No missing scene, but a big ol' helping of suspension of disbelief.
