Miss Lily's son Tommy

Just saw episode where her son comes into town with her husband, a baddie, planning a robbery. It's stated Tommy has been staying with Lily's sister. I don't recall Tommy ever coming back, though I could be wrong. I'm guessing he went to the same place that would house in the future people like Chuck Cunningham (Happy Days) Tina (That 70's Show) etc.

I don't recall Tommy ever being mentioned or seen in any other episodes. He must have gone back to live with Lily's sister in Denver and stayed there forever.

It might have been awkward to have him stay around since he saw Dan blow his daddy to Hell.

That was the only episode that he was mentioned in. One would have to assume that Lily sent him back to her sister.

In "The Exchange" (Season 2, ep. 4) what an interesting "back story" for Lily, with the (surprising) introduction of her ex-husband and their son (Tommy, about age 7, residing in Denver with her sister -- and not his dad, a baddie). Obviously the format of "Lawman" has no room for a young boy. Yet what a waste that the writers never let Lily mention Tommy just once or twice a season. And/or her sister. Lily being a parent would certainly affect the feelings Dan has for her. I'd like to think, in a positive way.
A dilemma faced the writers if ABC had renewed "Lawman" for a fifth season, since Peggy Castle was pregnant at the conclusion of year 4's production. Would she have been written out for the first half of the (potential) following season, perhaps "visiting Tommy and her sister in Denver?" Or, might Dan and Lily be story-rushed into marriage?

Now, back to "The Exchange," Lily's ex certainly sounded familiar. Didn't recognize the face, but the voice was so distinct. Turns out it's Sheriff Lom Trevors from the "Alias Smith and Jones" explanatory main title, wherein deep-voiced Mike Road voices Trevors' description of the governor's amnesty offering to the boys. Coincidentally the Lawman himself, John Russell, guest starred as Lom in at least two episodes of "Alias Smith and Jones."
Very much enjoying watching my recently purchased "Lawman" Season 2 DVD from Warner Archive. Brilliant transfers. Normally I'd start with the debut season, but the dynamics of Peggy Castle's inclusion into the all-male cast appealed to me, and mimicked some of the helpful comments here on the message board.
BTW I read the entire "Lawman" message board, and I must be candid: 75% of the comments could be deleted and readers/users wouldn't miss anything of significance.
Happy Bastille Day 2016.
