vie? I don't think it's bad at all. and TCM played it and they don't ever play bad movies.
shareI actually found it to be an interesting movie. Sure, certain style elements were strictly out of the long-past 1950s, but there were some themes in it that are still timely today, like political corruption, inmate abuse, labor exploitation, sexual exploitation, and illegals being smuggled in to provide cheap labor.
The musical numbers and some of the 1950s teen slang was campy, but still amusing and entertaining. So yeah, it wasn't a bad movie.

well exactly. it's a well made movie. it definitely is entertaining and most of all it's not boring. it's a good movie. I really can't understand how it was apparently in an episode of MST3K. I also read that even evil dead 2 was in an episode of MST3K??? how could this movie and evil dead 2 be in episodes of MST3K? like I guess people can have different opinions on movies is why this movie is bad to some people. It's not schmaltzy or cheaply or poorly made.

me too. I felt so sad when she died because she was so innocent. it's weird that I felt so sad though because she was barely in it and barely did anything. I felt so bad because I didn't want her sweet character die. so, this film must've did something right for me to feel so sad and bad about her dying.
