Does anyone know if there is a special edition dvd in the works? I want to pick this up, but I keep thinking they'll surely put out a special edition at some point.

I don't think MGM is planning to launch a Special edition DVD, sadly. But it would be great to have a 2 disc set that might include an interview with Tony Curtis, an audio commentary by some renowned film critic or some members from the cast and crew who are still alive.
And of course an extra CD with the soundtrack would be a wonderful addition! The music is amazing, one of the best things from the movie!
