We taped the movie but the timing was messed up, so we didn't record past when Falco stopped Susan from jumping off the balcony. Could someone please give a very brief summary of the ending?

At that scene you are near the end of the movie. Falco stops her from jumping and JJ comes in about that time and misunderstands what Falco was doing and Susan doesn't tell. Susan is leaving JJ to go with her boyfriend. Upset that Curtis hasn't broken up the romance JJ calls his crooked cop friend and tells them to arrest Curtis and says Curtis planted the drugs. Curtis leaves and says he may be beaten up but that he will tell what he knows. As Curtis leaves the cops meet him and beat him up and drag him to the car to take him to jail. Susan leaves JJ and is walking out on the street to go to her boyfriend and JJ is watching her sorrowful as she leaves.

shareOne thing a friend pointed out that I overlooked wilkins was that JJ was mainly upset with Falco after he stopped Susan from jumping was that Falco inadvertently said that he had planted the drugs on Susan's boyfriend. This is most important because this was what finally turned Susan against JJ and made her determined to go to her boyfriend and put JJ out of her life. Of course this turned JJ against Falco and that was when JJ called his crooked cop friend. Apologies for this oversight but I think now you get the whole idea. JJ was upset that Falco had touched his little sister but what turned him completely against Falco was when Falco let Susan know of the plant that JJ ordered on her boyfriend.
