Release a restored version DVD

I have just seen this movie for the first time. The version I saw was the English language dub with Sandra Dee and Tommy Kirk. It is a shame that the quality of the master used for the DVD is so bad beacuse it has such beautiful animation.

I would like to see a new DVD release featuring this original English dub as well as the original Russian language version with restored animation. Let's hope that it will one day get the quality DVD release with restoration that it deserves.

Hello, you are damned right, and what's more is that the film's original music has been replaced with another one, the titles have been suppressed, etc...
I remember seeing this movie when I was a kid, and I still have the music in my mind. It was very dramatic and not childlike as in the version they have done now... Children's movies and cartoons are considered as unimportant genres in cinema History and that's a shame. We will probably never have the occasion to see the original version again...
